SURGICAL TRAINING LAB REBRAND DESIGN

It was a treat to be asked to design a rebrand of an entire DJO surgical training room. The goal was to transform the plain and bland room into an atmosphere that represented the high-quality and elite training that DJO offered. This project came with the additional challenge that the surgical room was in Texas, and I was in California—nothing that blueprints, some iPhone shots and purposeful communication couldn't solve.

SURGICAL DISPLAY CASE

Our surgical department needed
an elegant way to transport and display their latest hip and knee implants for educational purposes. Working very closely with a packaging vendor
I designed each panel, both inside
and out, with elements from our ‘Different by Design’ campaign.
I shortened the front magnetic flap
to give a nice reveal of our brands
accent color. This gave a nice focal
point and visual invitation to explore
the contents of the case.
To give a premium feel, the entire outside was flooded with a soft-touch coating and a Spot UV ink was added for additional visual appeal. The implants were nestled inside a custom die-cut foam platform that safely transported them and looked amazing.
